There have been a slew of developments. He can now sit unassisted for long periods of time. He rolls in all directions really quickly and will spring into the crawling position with a quick flip. He is not quite crawling, but doing his own thing..... a combination of scooting backwards and pivoting. He will roll and turn until he gets to where he wants to go. He recently began this downward dog yoga pose. He is always on the move and it has been difficult to find time to update the blog, as he is go-go-go from the minute he wakes up.
He loves to eat! Everything
he has tried has been a hit, except for bananas and avocados.
His favorites are butternut
squash, peas and sweet potatoes. I am making all of his baby food, but trying
to get him to try a few of the pre-made organic ones for when we go out. He is not too
fond of the pre-made stuff and I can’t blame him. Jef and I tried a few and
they are pretty bad!
Jefferson is an absolute
delight. He is always in a good mood and laughs and smiles all the time.
Recently, he began getting a little cranky and we quickly discovered its
because he is cutting his first tooth. We found out when he decided to bite me!
Hopefully, it will finish making its way up soon.
Jefferson likes to going
shopping and particularly enjoys pulling anything off the shelves he can get
his hands on.
