Jefferson at 15 months can best be described as a running,
talking and dancing ball of joy!
At his 15 month check-up we learned that Jefferson is in the
88th percentile for height
and the 60th percentile for weight.
Jefferson’s language skills are really starting to take off!
His first word was not in English, not in Portuguese. It was
in Spanish! We heard him saying “Hola!’ into his cell phone.
He can also clearly say:
Dog
Go
Egg
When he sees a dog he will point and name it, same goes for
egg.
His word comprehension amazes me. I will ask him to bring me
things, close things and point to things and he is right on!
He can make most animal sounds including:
Lion*
Tiger*
Bear*
Cat
Duck
Cow
Monkey
Bee
Sheep
* lion, tiger and bear sound suspiciously similar.
He uses sign language for ‘all done’ with his food, and he has said it but
it’s not very clear yet.
He runs everywhere and loves to play ball with Duncan.
Loves:
Baths
Brushing his teeth
Brushing his hair
Dancing
Playing outside
Anything musical
Dislikes: Meat. He has decided that he is going to be a vegetarian!
