Haircut!
Jefferson got his haircut for the first time. He did great! He was distracted by lollipops. He has never had any and promptly tried to stick them in his nose and ear! He has since figured them out.
Home Alone!
We left him with Grandma and Grandpa overnight for the first time so that Jef and I could have a romantic Valentine’s Day getaway. He had such a good time that; I don’t think he noticed we were gone.
It is Freezing here!
We have been in a deep freeze here. Jefferson all bundled up.
Jefferson Funnies:
Jefferson talks non-stop from the moment he wakes up. It goes something like this; “I want up. Is Mommy tired? Mommy is under covers? Mommy is in the bed. Is that a bird outside? The bird says tweet, tweet, I want to watch Billy and Bam Bam and on and on!
Jefferson also says the funniest things:
“Duncan is VERY annoying” (when poor Duncan barks).
A recent conversation I had with Jefferson:
Jefferson: "Mommy is very tired?"
Me: “Yes I am”.
Jefferson: “Mommy needs more coffee”, as he goes to his kitchen and makes me a pretend cup of coffee.
ME: “Yes I need more coffee please”.
Jefferson” OK, but one more and that is it!”
When he spots a spider or other insect “Awww soo cute”.
To the little girl at the playground, “Careful you are going to have a great fall”.
To the coughing man at Starbucks , “Hands in the air like you just don’t care".
