Week 35!

Well this week Baby G. is the size of  a  coconut! He's about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. From here on out, he won't get much longer, but he's plumping up. He's now about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds, and he'll put on about 2 pounds or more of baby fat before birth.
Baby G. now weighs about 4 pounds and 15 ounces according to the ultrasound we had on Monday so he is right in track! Unfortunately he was very stubborn and would not stop covering his face with his hands, so we were not able to get any good pictures. We were able to see him practicing his breathing though.

Bump Report -Here is our picture at Jef's company's Family Day. I feel huge!

The Waiting Game- I am sooo ready to have the baby and tired of being pregnant. It could be next week It could be 3 weeks from now. There is a full moon on October 29th and that is my hunch of when Baby G. will make his grand entrance. The theory is that the moon’s gravitational pull effects the amniotic fluid in much the same way as it effects the water in the sea, and rivers. Some research show that if you have a full moon near your due date chances are good that the full moon could trigger labor. Fingers crossed!

Currently researching and reading about- The Wonder Weeks.
According to the author;  It’s not your imagination– all babies go through a difficult period around the same age. Research has shown that babies make 10 major, predictable, age-linked changes – or leaps – during their first 20 months of their lives.  During this time, they will learn more than in any other time.  With each leap comes a drastic change in your baby’s mental development, which affects not only his mood, but also his health, intelligence, sleeping patterns and the “three C’s” (crying, clinging and crankiness). Babies cry during a leap because they’ve reached a radical new step in their mental development. That is good: it gives them the opportunity to learn new things. The “difficult” behavior is actually a signal that great progress is underway. Well that is good to know!

Cravings -    roasted red pepper hummus, oatmeal, fig newtons, salad and bread.
Aversions-   chicken
Nursery- Because it couldn't be Jef's son without something car related in the nursery!

Looking forward to-  The baby getting here!!!! and the holidays. Not sure if he will be here for Halloween but he will definitely be here for Thanksgiving. I could not resist and picked up this Thanksgiving Day outfit. Isn't it cute?

Baby Clothes- We all know I have a baby clothes addiction but more specifically I seem to have a baby sock problem as evidenced below! and these aren't all of them!

To Do List-  Finish packing hospital bag, organize the diaper bag, begin to sterilize everything.  Ohh and of course I need to look for those adorable Baby's First Christmas outfits, stockings, ornaments etc.
Duncan- Let's just say that Duncan isn't the smartest doggy in the world. Hey it took him 2 years to not be afraid of the floor air vent and to figure out that if he laid on it he could cool off. Actually he 'figured it out' after Jef showed him several times. He is however, the cutest and sweetest and has the best temperament. Jef asked me the other day if I could only own one breed of dog for the rest of my life, which one would I pick? Hands down, no question a Bichon Frise.  Well,  this little Bichon is starting to think something is going on but he is not quite sure of what. He has started to act out a little by eating the cat food and sneaking up on our bed. He is also been super clingy towards me and follows me everywhere.  I can only imagine what is going to happen when we bring the new 'puppy' home! Our plan is to shower him with attention and toys! Umm not that he needs anymore. This is about half of his current stash!

Who can resist this face?
