Week 37!

 Any day now! Baby G. is now full term!

Baby's now the size of a watermelon!           

Your full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day. He's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (source the bump).

The Waiting Game-   Any day now! Come on Baby! According to my doctor, this morning,  he is locked and loaded and things look good! He has 2 weeks to come out on his own before we start the eviction process.

Bump Report -Here are a couple of pictures at 37 weeks.  No longer cute, just huge!

Maternity Clothes, Baby Stores and Baby Clothes Review- For those of you that will be buying maternity clothes and baby clothes in the near future!

Maternity Favorites-  finding stretchy regular clothes that could be used during pregnancy. I was able to find 2 skirts and some blouses.

Best Maternity- Old Navy- good prices, OK quality, certainly will last you 6+ months and a nice variety. Great cotton stretch panels that won't bake your belly! Funny- Their line of what I call 'Teen Mom' maternity clothes- Daisy Duke maternity shorts! Really?!

Worst- Motherhood Maternity- pricey and poor quality. I purchased some blouses that pilled immediately after 1 wash. Also, their stretch panels are made of synthetic fiber and are really hot.

Baby Clothes - Favorites so far.....

Gymboree- My absolute favorite. The quality is really good and they have adorable complete ensembles. You can get everything from the socks to the hat to the blanket.  How cute is this from their caterpillar line!

Baby Gap- Again, the quality is really good and the clothes are different.

Baby Stores-

 Buy, Buy, Baby- great selection, and very liberal return policy. You can literally find anything and return it too.

Babies R Us- good prices, not a lot of variety.

Amazon- Best prices and you could pretty much find anything, but you  can't actually 'touch and feel' before you buy. They do have a good return policy though.

Cravings -  Soup, pizza, cheddar and grapes. Ohh and  sushi (waiting on this one).

Aversions-   I think I am growing a vegetarian! Aversions to chicken, and anything meat. Ohh and pumpkin. Normally,  I love pumpkin everything during this time of  the year, but not now I can't even smell it!

Looking forward to-   Meeting Baby G. Who is Baby G. going to look like? Is his nose going to be as big as the ultrasound pictures?!! How much is he going to weigh? What is his personality going to be like?

Nesting- Everything is done!

Duncan- Duncan loves his car rides. He has his own special blanket for the car and he gets at least one ride a day.  He is not too sure about having to share his space with Baby G. but I think he will come around.
