Productive Weekend!

Countdown- 90 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!
Glucola Fail!- I failed my initial Glucola challenge, which consists of drinking this incredibly sweet liquid (think Hawaiian punch with 10 spoons of sugar added yuck!) and getting your blood levels tested one hour later. I barely was able to keep it down. My physician gave me the option of taking another 3 hour test or following a lower-carbohydrate diet. The 3 hour test consists of fasting and drinking 2 awful bottles of Glucola at once and having your blood drawn four times- once when you arrive and once every hour afterwards. I have heard horror stories of people fainting, throwing, up and feeling just awful. I knew I couldn't handle it so. I chose the diet. Basically it consists of eating every 2-3 hours and following a carbohydrate allotment.  It takes a lot of time in planning and sticking to a schedule, but it really has not been that bad . So far I have been able to keep my numbers on point.

As you can see from the look on my face, during test , that there was no way I was going to drink two bottles of this!
Baby Projects- This weekend I completed some fun baby/nursery projects.
Diaper stations- I came up with the idea of setting  up diaper caddies. Since we have a two floor house, I figured it would be handy to have multiple caddies so we don't have to go up and down the stairs looking for things. Each caddy has diapers, wipes, ointment, Vaseline and a pad. bonus I think they are cute.

Nursery Mural- I also set up this cute wall mural in the nursery. It took a very long time and a lot of patience but I love the way it came out. I love the Autumn colors. Autumn is my favorite season. It is the season I got married and it will be the season Baby G. is born in.

Closet Organizers-I also picked up these handy closet dividers so I can organize Baby G's clothes by size. I was able to finish washing all of his clothes this weekend and now they are all organzied and ready to go.

And finally, I ordered this-  The Baby Bjorn Balance Sitter.
Wednesday I have the baby Care class- so excited plus it is the last day of the second trimester. Woo Hoo!!
Bump Report- Bigger everyday!
